Doc and WOKY’s Bob Barry in an episode that aired on 11 June 1966. Barry was hosting WITI-TV’s "Early Show" movie at the time.

This is a rare color photograph of the first set. Note that DuBlon had discarded the long rubber fingers, and had replaced them with the white cotton work gloves. He's also wearing the green blazer that would be a part of the character’s costume through the end of the show’s run. He is still wearing the facial make-up however. Compare this photo to the previous one to see how it looks in monochrome, which is how WITI-TV broadcast its local shows at the time.
